The topic of thesis work is designing and making a prototype of a device for preparing hot drinks. The paper describes in detail the steps in the design process, from computer design and material selection, laboratory measurements and their analysis, selection and methods of connecting the electrical, electronic and electromechanical components of the device into a functional unit, to programming the built-in computer system and determining key parameters for optimal operation of the device. Measurements of heating and cooling of the liquid in the tank, i.e. temperature regulation, efficiency calculation, and flow measurements were carried out in order to determine its characteristics for providing the most efficient results. It was concluded that the developed device for the preparation of hot drinks mostly achieved all the set goals of the technical characteristics. It was established that the device provides users with fast delivery of beverages and more practical and efficient preparation of beverages in catering establishments and offices where there are a large number of users. However, due to the specificity of its functionality, it is not recommended for personal use or in offices with a smaller number of users.
