Abstract
U ovom završnom radu prikazan je informacijski sustav za upravljanje laboratorijskim procesima – LIMS, zajedno sa svim prednostima i nedostacima koje dobivamo njegovom implementacijom u proizvodni sustav. U početnom dijelu rada objašnjeno je što LIMS ustvari predstavlja, osnovne značajke, područje primjene i razlozi implementacije LIMS-a u proizvodni sustav. U drugom dijelu rada, detaljnije je prikazana Tvornica duhana Rovinj smještena u Kanfanaru, kao mjesto primjene LIMS-a, počevši od povijesnog razvoja tvornice, načina rada prije i nakon implementacije LIMS-a, te svih prednosti koje su ostvarene implementacijom LIMS-a. U nastavku koji slijedi, obrađena je infrastruktura nužna za primjenu LIMS-a, alati LIMS-a, katalozi grešaka, indeks kvalitete i ostali ključni faktori. Na kraju, uz mnoge prednosti, obrađeni su i određeni nedostaci LIMS sustava.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper we present the information system for laboratory process management – LIMS, together with all the advantages and disadvantages we obtain from its implementation in the production system. In the initial part of the paper, it is explained what is LIMS, the basic features, scope of application and the reasons for LIMS implementation in the production system. In the second part of the paper, Tobacco Factory Rovinj is located in Kanfanar, as a place for LIMS application, starting with the historical development of the factory, the way of working before and after the implementation of LIMS, and all the advantages that have been achieved by the implementation. Following, the infrastructure required for LIMS application, LIMS tools, defect catalogues, quality index, and other key factors was processed. Finally, disadvantages of the LIMS system were also addressed
