Aluminous cement is a type of cement obtained by firing bauxite and limestone, first produced in 1913. Calcium aluminate cement (CAC) is a name that is completely descriptive since its properties are derived precisely from calcium aluminates. Although it was developed due to its resistance to sulfates, it is used today due to its slow setting time and early strength development. These characteristics are due to its chemical reactivity which directly depends on the specific surface area determined by the Blaine method, an essential parameter for cement specification. This work compares the principle of the aluminate cement production control system on an example from practice with the recommendations from the literature for the control of Portland cement production. Aluminate cement production was an offline quality control system and continuous process monitoring where sampling sites were found to comply with Portland cement recommendations, while the sampling frequency differed in mill cement sampling, which is the penultimate point of correction of the impact on the final product (the last is mixing during packaging) where the frequency is twice as high as in the recommendations for the same. This is a reflection of the higher cost of production of raw materials (bauxite), the energy required during the process to achieve a higher temperature in the furnaces to achieve metal fusion, higher maintenance costs due to higher clinker hardness which leads to faster wear of balls in the mill of which the price of aluminous cement on the market depends on
