Abstract
U cilju smanjenja korištenja energije iz konvencionalnih oblika znatna se sredstva ulažu u razvoj tehnologija proizvodnje energije iz obnovljivih izvora. Kako Sunce predstavlja neiscrpan izvor energije, sve se više ulaže u iskorištenje njegovih potencijala. Fotonaponski sustavi pretvaraju svjetlost u električnu istosmjernu struju (DC) iskorištavanjem fotoelektričnog efekta. Dovođenjem Sunčevog svjetla na solarnu ćeliju, ona ga apsorbira te se fotonaponskim efektom na njenim krajevima pojavljuje elektromotorna sila te na taj način solarna ćelija postaje izvor električne energije. Prema studijama koje su provedene postupak proizvodnje te sam vijek trajanja fotonaponskih ćelija puno manje onečišćuju okoliš od fosilnih goriva, čime se doprinosienergijske ekološkoj osviještenosti.
Abstract (english)
In order to reduce the usage of energy from conventional forms, considerable resources are invested in the development of renewable energy technology. As the Sun represents an inexhaustible source of energy, it is increasingly invested in the exploitation of its potential. Photovoltaic systems convert light into electric DC (DC) by taking advantage of photoelectric effect. By bringing solar light to the solar cell, it absorbs it and the photovoltaic effect at its ends generates an electromotive force, and in this way the solar cell becomes a source of electricity. According to the studies conducted in the production process, the lifespan of photovoltaic cells is much less polluting the environment than fossil fuels, contributing to ecological awareness.
